About the Mug
These small Tea Bowl are hand-thrown by Kelly using a white stoneware clay. Each piece is crafted with great care, from the application of the swirl to the shaping of the handle — every detail is thoughtfully considered to complement the form of the cup.
The surface features a layered glaze: a matte black base is overlaid with white glaze, followed by a final layer of black glaze, creating depth and variation in texture and tone.
Kelly takes pride in her work and will never sell a piece she isn’t 100% happy with. Each mug reflects the time, attention, and intention put into its creation — and she hopes you feel that care every time you hold it.
